making a move

Whelp...it is official. we are picking up and moving out. m o v i n g. a word that i didn't think would come as soon as it did. it's a little surreal right now, because it's all moving so fast. In just two weeks we will be in a new home. [this will all be taking place right smack in the middle of exam week...joy.] I admit, I've been rather weepy about this for the past few weeks. I didn't realize our little treehouse would grow on me so much. But I guess that's to be expected with our first home as husband and wife.

To be sure, good will come out of this change. For one, our bed will not be in the same room as the kitchen...along with the dining room...and the living area. Therefore, it can no longer taunt me as I am getting ready for the day at 7 am, beckoning me to jump back in for a few more minutes of blissful sleep. It sure makes getting to places on time difficult in the morning.

It's been a good run, little house. We will miss you, and treasure out memories in you forever.
